Welcome to 𝔻𝕣․𝕋𝕤𝕖𝕟𝕘 Music Studio. Have you thought about how you learn a new language? Cello is like a new language. As we learn a new language, we begin with listening and imitating. Then develop reading later. Same with playing the cello. The video list below includes all the songs in Suzuki Cello Book One. 

Let's listen attentively and regularly. Watch the video closely and discuss it with me in the lesson!

            Did you notice Ms. Tseng's bow hand/ cello hand/ posture?
            What is the most interesting thing in the videos? Other thoughts?

As a certified Suzuki teacher and passionate cellist, I would like to quote Dr. Suzuki's words in his book, "In the beginning, you must have much perseverance, energy, and patience." because "Talent is not inherited."

希望你們在學習觀看影片過程中，仔細的聽，常常聽，也可以在上課時與我討論：

            曾老師哪裡做得不錯？

            曾老師有什麼可以再進步的地方？

            有注意到什麼是正確的坐姿？怎麼拿弓？怎麼按弦？

            有什麼有趣的事在影片中發生？還注意到了什麼？

身為林木大提琴教師，想要分享林木博士在他的書中提到的想法：「在剛開始學習時，你一定要不屈不饒、保持正能量、時常有耐心」我也同意老師說的：「天份不是天生的 （書中說：天分是靠後天訓練的）。」
